Serenity Woodworks

Commission

If you can dream it.

Custom Work If you can dream it, we can do it Thank you for your interest in our custom products Please share your vision of the project you have in mind, or give some ideas and we will make a few proposals. Military insignias, law enforcement badges, seals and logos, fire department logos, crests, tattoo art (yup), you name it!

Providing an idea of a budget in mind will help us guide you to the best size, material, and options to make your vision a reality. We will work within your wants and needs to give you the very best art.

The cost is really up to whatever you see as your vision. This is meant to be items that will be hung on a wall for years and years with pride, one day to hopefully be handed down.

Frequently Asked

Can I send my own photo or reference?
Yes — that is the easiest way to start. A clear photo of the badge, patch, or crest is all we need. We will create proofs for your approval before we touch a single piece of wood.
My agency or rank isn’t in the shop. Can you still make it?
Almost certainly. The shop shows a small slice of what we have built. If you have a reference image, we can carve it — military, federal, state, municipal, fire, EMS, or a private organization.
How long does a commission take?
From accepted proof to delivered piece, plan on 9–11 weeks for a custom commission (unless a firm delivery date has been agreed on up front). Rush work is sometimes possible — let us know the date you need it by and we’ll confirm before you pay.
What does a commission cost?
Commissions start around the price of our standard shop pieces and go up based on size, number of colors, and the complexity of the carving. You’ll see a firm quote before any payment is collected.
Can I cancel or change my mind?
You can cancel or adjust the design any time before we begin cutting wood. Once production starts we can no longer issue a refund, but we will always work with you to make the piece right.
Do you do bulk orders for a graduating class or retirement ceremony?
Yes — this is one of our favorite kinds of commission. Reach out with the class size, any variations needed (names, badge numbers, ranks), and the ceremony date.
